Urge Chess.com to remove Israel Flag

Urge Chess.com to remove Israel Flag
The Issue
We, the undersigned, formally request that Chess.com immediately remove or "grey out" the Israeli flag, applying the same disciplinary standard used for the flags of Russia and Belarus.
Established Precedent: In 2022, Chess.com set a clear moral and political precedent by removing the Russian flag due to violations of international law. To maintain this policy without bias, the same restriction must apply to Israel.
Severity of Violations: The humanitarian crisis and documented actions in Gaza—which have been the subject of numerous International Court of Justice (ICJ) rulings—constitute a breach of international norms. Leaving the flag active while censoring others suggests a double standard that undermines the platform's integrity.
Equal Accountability: Chess.com must not be a platform where certain geopolitical actions are penalized while others are ignored. If the Russian flag is unfit for display, then by the platform's own established logic, the Israeli flag must be treated the same.
We call on Chess.com to end its selective enforcement and apply its "no-politics" exception universally by transitioning the Israeli flag to a neutral icon until international law is upheld.
