Please share this petition with as many friends, colleagues etc who live, work or student in Camden. We've been told that with 4000 local signatures, we can demand that Camden Council debate it.

Camden Council have noticed the pressure for a ceasefire motion over the past six months but they have sat it out while tens of thousands more people have been brutally killed and now they are sitting it out while people are dying of hunger which could be so easily prevented if Israel opened the borders for the aid trucks, if Britain and others built up UNRWA rather than following Israel and depriving it of funds - and if Israel were not so keen to attack the Palestinians that it just ignores the International Court of Justice (calling on Israel not to continue genocidal acts) and now ignores a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire - and goes on bombing.

We need reassurance from our Council that it cares for human rights and equality and (just as it did in the case of South African apartheid) will stand in solidarity with people's rights and against the barbaric cruelty that is daily in Gaza.

We need their help putting maximum pressure for a ceasefire and a chance to end this horror.
