Thank you for signing this petition calling on Camden Council to sign a ceasefire motion. 

In Gaza, the atrocities are continuing. Tens of people have been killed, a hundred thousand injured, millions displaced from their homes, sixty per cent of homes destroyed and children orphaned, hurt, short of food and water.  Israel has continued to bomb, ignoring the International Court of Justice which has said that genocide is plausible and has asked Israel firmly to avoid genocidal acts , ignoring the International Criminal Court that is is accusing Benjamin Netanyahu of war crimes, ignoring a UN ceasefire motion and pressure from many countries across the world.

Ceasefire is essential. But Camden Council have been shameful in their reluctance to face the issue or recognise how much people in Camden care - shamefully, they have avoided meetings, deputations and even cancelled a full council meeting to avoid the subject.

Now there is a new petition calling on the council to divest from Israel.
