I, like many others, watched in horror as the first 2024 presidential debate featuring President Biden and Donald Trump unfolded. It is clear as day that our current President does not have the ability to successfully lead us through another term. Following this debate, public calls have increased for President Biden to step down in favor of a different Democratic candidate. Yet, the Biden campaign defiantly refuses to do so.

In light of this, we are proposing a third way. Dr Jill Stein, with the support and recognition of Bernie Sanders. Despite endorsing the Democratic Party, I believe Sanders’, in good conscious, knows that his friend Joe cannot win. Bernie has a significant voice in politics right now, and his following is still strong. If he could help to unify the progressive vote by urging the Biden administration to do the right thing, and calling on democrats and progressives to unite behind Dr. Jill Stein, instead of Joe Biden, Dr. Stein could easily destroy Donald Trump.

However, achieving this will require a major political rethink. It won’t be easy at all. We know it’s an uphill battle. But we NEED to try. We need Bernie Sanders to denounce his endorsement of the Democratic Party and publicly endorse the Green Party candidate, Dr. Jill Stein.

We ask you to join our consensus. Let's urge Bernie Sanders to change his political allegiance and show the DNC that we are serious about change. POWER TO THE PEOPLE.
