My 4-year-old son, who is on the autism spectrum, has found immense comfort and joy in a set of toys from Baby First, particularly the Color Crew. Over time, due to wear and tear, these cherished toys have started to deteriorate. This situation is not unique to us; many parents in my special needs support group share similar experiences.

These toys are more than just playthings for our children; they serve as comfort items that help them navigate their world. Unfortunately, Baby First has discontinued these beloved toys leaving many children without their favorite companions.

According to Autism Speaks, familiar objects such as these can provide a sense of security and routine for children on the autism spectrum (Autism Speaks). The discontinuation of these toys disrupts this routine causing unnecessary distress.

We urge Baby First not only to consider our personal stories but also acknowledge the broader implications for all families with special needs children who rely on their products for comfort and stability. We request that they reproduce discontinued lines including but not limited to the Color Crew.
