Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition so far. Now we have a target date - 10th November - to get as many people as possible to sign the petition.

10th November is the date of the next meeting of the Town Deal Board. I received an email from a member of East Riding staff who works on the Town Deal, saying that the Board would consider concerns I have raised about the Town Deal, and the way the two councils and others involved in the deal have been conducting themselves, and ignoring anyone who raises concerns.

I have distributed a further to the whole of Dunhill Rd, at lunchtime today and this evening. The flyer is to raise awareness of the petition. I will distribute to other streets around VPG in coming days. It’s interesting that when I delivered the first flyer I had messages from ERYC, and I received a message from the Town Deal Board just after 6pm after the first part of my Dunhill Rd delivery today.

The picture shows some work being done today - it looked like some sort of samples were being taken. This evening, those who live round the ground have been subjected to more prolonged and loud banging of the stands during a football match.

If a lot of people sign the petition by 10th November, that will give the Town Deal Board and the two councils something to think very seriously about. Please keep sharing the petition and encouraging people to sign!
