It’s official: We did it!
When I started this petition, it was because Brisbane’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community deserves to see queer joy, camp, and big-budget representation on the big screen just like everyone else. We didn't want to be an afterthought, and because of every single one of you who signed, shared, and raised your voices, we are not!
I am beyond thrilled to announce that Stop! That! Train! will officially be screening across Brisbane starting in August! What started as a push for visibility has turned into a massive win, with multiple cinema chains jumping on board to show the film.
Thank you to everyone who took a moment out of their day to support this. You helped prove that there is a real, undeniable demand for diverse and inclusive cinema in our city.
