Urge Apple to reinstate Nova Wallet on the App Store
The Issue
On Friday, October 9, 2026, Apple terminated Nova Wallet's developer account under Section 3.2(f), without issuing a prior pending-termination notice. This decision removed Nova from the App Store, putting years of independent development, innovation, and community building at risk.
Nova Wallet is an award-winning application, recognized with two industry awards and grant support. What began as an independent vision grew into a trusted platform that has facilitated millions in transaction volume and helped users manage millions in value through self-custodial wallets.
Throughout our journey, we have maintained an exceptional record of user safety, reliability, and transparency. Nova has never experienced a security incident compromising user wallets attributable to our application. Our commitment to protecting users has always been at the foundation of everything we build.
Our history with Apple's App Review process reflects that same commitment. We have consistently cooperated with reviewers, addressed feedback, and followed Apple's published requirements. We are fully confident in our ability to provide evidence demonstrating that Nova has not violated Apple's guidelines.
Despite this track record, Apple's decision now threatens years of legitimate work and the community that helped make Nova possible.
We want to reassure our users that existing wallets and their holdings remain under their owners' control. Nova is self-custodial, and Apple's decision does not change that fundamental principle.
We recognize and respect Apple's responsibility to protect its users and maintain App Store standards. However, we firmly believe that a decision with consequences this significant deserves transparency, a fair review, and a meaningful opportunity for the developer to respond.
We are respectfully asking Apple to:
Reconsider and reverse the termination of Nova Wallet's developer account.
Provide a clear explanation of the specific concerns underlying its decision.
Review the evidence of Nova's compliance and longstanding commitment to user safety.
Reinstate Nova Wallet and restore its availability on the App Store.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for fair treatment.
Independent developers dedicate years of their lives to building products, earning the trust of their communities, and advancing innovation. Their work deserves a fair and transparent process when decisions threaten its continued existence.
Nova has earned its community's trust through years of hard work, accountability, and a commitment to doing things right.
We've always stood behind our users. Today, we're asking our community to stand behind Nova.
Please sign and share this petition to support the reinstatement of Nova Wallet and fair treatment for independent developers everywhere.
