I am an ordinary individual with an extraordinary love for animals. My companion - a dog, was adopted from Dogs in Harmony (DiH), run by Lila Jean. She does a phenomenal job of rescuing and rehabilitating animals, saving them from dire situations, and finding them caring homes. I believe in her commitment to animal welfare and I am a living testament to the life-changing work she does.

Unfortunately, DiH has been removed from Adopt-a-Pet, robbing potential owners of the chance to bring home rescued dogs. This wonderful organization, built on the empathetic work of Lila Jean, deserves to be reinstated.

According to the Humane Society of the United States, 6-8 million pets enter shelters each year in America. Among them, approximately 3 million are euthanized, simply for lack of room and resources. Organizations like DiH play an invaluable role in reducing these tragically high numbers by finding loving homes for these innocent creatures.

Removing DiH from Adopt-a-Pet, a platform with broad reach, significantly hinders their ability to aid in reducing euthanasia rates and helping animals find their forever homes. Reinstating Dogs in Harmony on Adopt-a-Pet will allow Lila Jean to continue her work and make a crucial difference to the lives of animals in need.
