🐾 In just one month… 🔸 1,759 animals entered ACCT’s doors. 🔸 Only 1,379 had live outcomes — that’s adoptions, returns to owner, transfers, or return to field. 🔸 183 animals were euthanized. 🔸 That’s over 5 animals a day losing their lives — in one month alone. This isn’t due to lack of compassion. It’s due to lack of resources, space, and support. 💔 The city’s ONLY open-intake shelter is beyond capacity. The staff and volunteers are overwhelmed. The animals are the ones paying the price. Among those lost in May were Blue, Waffles, Buddy Jackson, Pancho, Dame Quill, Townsend, Lovey, and Racer. Their lives mattered. They deserved more. ✨ You can make a difference. Whether it’s fostering, volunteering your time, or donating to local rescues pulling from ACCT — your help matters. Every person stepping in can mean the difference between life and death for an animal. 🚨 We need your help. Sign the petition to urge our city and ACCT leadership to fund billboard outreach, expand foster networks, and work toward systemic solutions. 👉https://chng.it/FgHcgHmDv5 #ACCTPhilly #SavePhillyPets #EndShelterOvercrowding #HopeForEveryTail #PetitionForChange #AnimalRescuePhilly
