UPS workers did not think we’d be frontline workers in a pandemic, but here we are!

Without paid leave during a viral pandemic, UPS is not only endangering it's workers and their loved ones but also the public.  2 weeks of paid leave will help ensure those who have been exposed to the virus have the time to properly isolate and are prevented from coming into contact with parcels, co-workers, or the general public.

To do their part in helping lower the spread of infection of COVID-19 we demand that UPS Canada immediately:

- Provide 2 weeks of paid sick leave for workers in all classifications who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are required by a government, health body, or UPS to self isolate.

- Provide 2 weeks of paid sick leave for workers in all classifications who share a residence with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are required by a government, health body, or UPS to self isolate.

-Sanitize Our Workplace by cleaning heavily-used areas and providing hand sanitizer to employees, including on all package cars.

UPS has already provided this to workers in the United States and we say that we are in no less danger and that we deserve the same protections!
