UPLB students have limited to no safe and conducive spaces as options for all-nighters outside campus after 8PM (UPLB Main Library's closing) and 10PM (university curfew). Students have to shell extra cash to use surrounding cafes and restaurants. Only very few students have the privilege to have extra money to spend an all nighter in a conducive and safe space. 

We ask for the UPLB Administration to extend UPLB Main Library's office hours to 12 midnight in response to the problem students are facing. The university's mandate is not to only ensure that quality education is given to students but also ensure that students are safe from any threat and have equitable footing whilst pursuing their academic endeavors.
