It's a significant milestone, culminating years of hard work and cherished memories. My name is Katie, and I'm part of the Year 11 class at Foxwell State Secondary College. I've always looked forward to my Year 12 formal, dreaming of the perfect evening to celebrate with my classmates. 

However, our formal is currently planned to be held at the theme park, Dreamworld. While theme parks are fun, they don't capture the essence of a formal event meant to embody elegance, sophistication, and importance. A formal venue, such as a banquet hall or a classy hotel, provides the perfect backdrop for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion, ensuring that we celebrate this pivotal moment in style.

Other schools across the region have chosen more elegant settings for their formals, highlighting the importance of a memorable and fitting send-off. Studies also show that the environment of a significant event can significantly affect the participants' experience, influencing their emotions and recall of the event. A formal venue would enhance the atmosphere, allowing everyone to immerse fully in the evening without distractions.

We deserve a venue that matches the importance of this milestone in our lives.
