To the incredible 4,000 people who signed the Change.org petition 💛

Next week, I’ll be heading into Council to present the official paper petition in line with Council policy. This is the one that must be submitted in hard copy, and we currently have over 400 handwritten signatures on it already. I will also be formally acknowledging the 4,000 signatures from this Change.org petition when I speak.

Yes… I’ll be speaking publicly about the Narangba intersection and level crossing, the upgrades our community urgently needs, and the impact this situation is having on families, commuters, and local businesses. Your support gives weight to every word.

This is our moment for a final push on numbers before I walk into that chamber.

I’ll be taking the official paper petition to Narangba State School over the next week, so if you see me running around with a black clip board, just stop me to sign.

And please, sign all three petitions. Every single one strengthens the case from a different angle.

We are running out of time to grow the State petition numbers, so if you haven’t signed that one yet, now is the time. Share it. Post it. Send it to the group chat that never checks things. Let’s lift that 1,300 higher before it closes.

On a really positive note, I’ll also be meeting with our councillor to discuss Council’s role in more depth and explore what further action can be taken locally. Conversations are happening. Doors are opening. Momentum is building.
