Background:

Every day, Narangba locals experience frustrating and unnecessary delays at the level rail crossing, including the two major intersections:

 Main Street and Mumford Road

 Burpengary Road and Mackie Road

Many of us, myself included, have to cross these intersections multiple times a day—for school drop-offs, daycare, work, and essential errands. It’s not uncommon to sit waiting for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, just to cross the train line. Multiply that by four trips a day, and it adds up to hours every week lost in our cars.

💡What We’re Asking For:

We urge the relevant authorities to investigate and prioritise an infrastructure solution—such as an overpass, underpass, or improved rail crossing system—that allows traffic to flow more efficiently and safely through these vital intersections.
