Upgrade the copper cable in High Green to full fibre.

Upgrade the copper cable in High Green to full fibre.
The Issue
High Green is a small village in South Yorkshire that has been left behind when it comes to internet connectivity. The current copper cable infrastructure is outdated and cannot provide the high-speed internet that we need in today's world. Therefore, we urge the local authorities to upgrade the copper cable in High Green to full fibre.
According to a recent survey by the Broadband Stakeholder Group, only 40% of households in High Green have access to superfast broadband. This is well below the national average of 90%. (Superfast broadband is defined as up to 30Mb, which is 2 generations behind the current best available)
This lack of high-speed internet is not only frustrating but also detrimental to our economy and education system. Many businesses require fast internet connections for their operations, and students need reliable access for online learning.
Upgrading High Green's infrastructure will not only benefit residents but also attract new businesses and investment into the area. It will improve our quality of life and help us stay connected with friends and family who live far away.
We call on local authorities to prioritize upgrading High Green's copper cable infrastructure to full fibre as soon as possible so that we can enjoy reliable high-speed internet like other parts of the country.
