A BIT OF BACKROUND
In September 2019 RMS announced plans to widen Hoxton Park Rd to allow for Bus lanes up towards the Airport from Banks Road to Cowpasture Road.
In the proposed Extension of Hoxton Park Road the plans showed that Transport for NSW (RMS) wants to have Bus Lanes in the Kerbside lanes. Liverpool Councillors want to have the Bus Lanes in the centre of the road like the existing Tway lanes from Liverpool to Banks Road.
In May 2020 Transport for NSW (RMS) published a Consultation Report to say that an Independent Committee have reviewed the project and decided to proceed with the Original Plans unchanged. This is even after the so called Community Consultation Process.
This is the Link to RMS PAGE with media release and consultants report
The RMS Evaluation Report from September 2019 (32 Pages) is there together with the Consultant’s Report written in April 2020 (24 Pages) and some other information which you can view.

Liverpool Council were not happy with this report as Liverpool Council and Councillors have their own vision for the Corridor see Information and Link below
To help achieve Liverpool’s goal of becoming Sydney’s third CBD, a fast and regular public transport connection to the new Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport is critical.
Council’s flagship project, the Fifteenth Avenue Smart Transit (FAST) Corridor, is a visionary city-shaping project to deliver a high quality public transport link between the Liverpool CBD and Western Sydney International Airport. Under the Western Sydney City Deal, the NSW Government has committed to a rapid bus connection between the Airport, the new Aerotropolis and Liverpool’s CBD in time for the airport’s opening in 2026.
Council has begun early design work on its preferred corridor option and aims to seek further community feedback in late 2020 or early 2021.
CONCLUSION
This Petition was started to support Residents and Business Owners of Liverpool from Hoxton Park right through to Luddenham who use Fifteenth Ave and want to have Fifteenth Ave widened to cope with the existing traffic and the future traffic, we are asking you to help encourage the Minister for transport and Roads to provide the funding for this Project.
