I am a local go-kart enthusiast, and I am starting this petition because family fun centers like Boomers Vista need to upgrade their track technology so it is fairer and more fun for drivers of all skill levels. Recently, I was stopped from driving for the day at Boomers Vista because I was driving cautiously. I wanted to take my time and avoid bumping into anyone. However, because Boomers uses traditional gas go-karts without automated remote control features, faster drivers crowded behind me, which led to a few minor bumps. Instead of managing the track traffic safely, Boomers removed me from the attraction. This isn't fair to guests who are just trying to drive carefully. Boomers should not penalize guests for driving at a careful pace. Modern indoor tracks use electric go-karts with remote-control switches. At those tracks, if someone slows down, a track marshal can instantly pause or slow down the other karts with the push of a button to prevent accidental pile-ups. At Boomers, the karts keep moving at full power, which creates an unorganized and stressful environment. We ask that Boomers Vista: 1. Upgrade their track management system to include remote speed-control features for staff. 2. Update their rules so that careful or slower drivers are given space to drive without being penalized. 3. Make the track environment a more welcoming, stress-free place for everyone.
