Good Afternoon,

Today was the first day back at school and we hope you enjoyed your summer break. We haven’t heard from you since July when you advised us that once the 3rd party survey was completed you would let us know the results. I’ve spoken to the Property Manager from CTS who was responsible for this study on July 1st and he advised me that the results would be sent to your department within 1 week. It has now been 9 weeks and we have not heard anything about the results of this survey and the plan the city has to move forward with making this intersection safer for children, parents, other pedestrians and drivers. The school crosswalk was very busy this afternoon, as always, and the safety of the students and parents are our utmost priority. I’ve attached some photos to show the volume. As you can see there are more pedestrians than one single crosswalk can contain. This is just one part of why a full 4 way intersection with crosswalks on both sides of the road is needed. We are eagerly awaiting your response.
