I had an opportunity to discuss the survey with the company conducting it CTS. The Project Manager was very kind and helpful. He anticipates that the study will be completed in about a week and that the report will be going to the city after that. He shared with me that “three field visits were undertaken, that 7 hours of traffic and pedestrian volumes were measured and that we are evaluating traffic control upgrade scenarios for the intersection including conversion of the pedestrian activated (half) traffic signal to a full traffic signal. I can also tell you that the Principal of Albion Elementary School also shared information with me. So yes it is a comprehensive review”  He also asked for a copy of this Petition so he can review it!!! I’m really hoping this all helps our cause!
