Hi Mark (and other’s cc’d Mayor Dan Ruimy; and Trustees Elaine Yamamoto and Gabe Liosis),

Thanks for your reply. I do understand that the city is required to be consistent in the way that the intersections are studied, designed, and upgraded as communities grow. You stated that the TAC guidelines booklet, last updated in 2018, is only one of a combination of documents that will be used in this study. What other documents will be utilized? Aside from the miovision traffic study equipment that was used on May 31st by Creative Transportation Solutions to survey the intersection, what other survey methods and equipment will be used? What company/consultant will be preparing the final report that you mentioned in your email that you have estimated you will likely receive in a few months?

Also, an update for you. The petition now has 442 signatures. As you can see from the support we are getting on this petition, this intersection is not just an important location to me personally but it is also a very important location to 442 other Albion community members and their families. Here is a link for you again: https://www.change.org/240stHillave

Our community is continuing to grow exponentially. Our school is consistently growing as new students move into the community and our school is well over capacity with multiple portables even with the new school c̓əsqənelə Elementary that opened a few years ago. That coupled with the new community centre and various new residential complexes being built in the area, the city is considerably behind in the infrastructure needed to keep up with the growth in population that is directly contributing to the traffic volume at this intersection (as well as many others in the city) what is the city’s overall plan to improve infrastructure to support the growth in residents?
