Back in March 31st, 2026, Crayola brought back the retired crayon color dandelion...but only in the 24-count boxes (replacing bluetiful) and in the 64-count boxes (replacing indigo). This is confusing and frustrating that everyone will have to purchase multiple crayon boxes to have all dandelion, bluetiful, and indigo all at once. In other words, none of the crayon boxes have dandelion, indigo, and bluetiful co-exist in the same box.

When Crayola announced dandelion's return, I was hoping for a 120 box or a 152 box with dandelion, but unfortunately, my dreams and wishes were shattered. I mean...it is frustrating that bluetiful is not in the 24 box, indigo is not in the 64 box, and dandelion is not in any boxes other than 24 and 64.

I then emailed Crayola about this, and they told me that they don't have any plans to update the 152 box, although they did share my feedback with the marketing team. I even created a poll on Reddit, asking everyone if Crayola should update the 152 box, and then 43 answered "yes".

Crayola currently produces 149 unique crayon colors, including the return of dandelion. However, no single crayon box includes all of these colors.

The 152-count box is the largest standard Crayola set, but it does not include Colors of the World, Colors of Kindness, or dandelion. Instead, it includes metallic and glitter crayons.

This petition proposes a simple and logical update to the 152-count box:

• 120 standard colors
• 24 Colors of the World
• 4 Colors of Kindness
• Dandelion
• 3 new colors

This would create a true 152-color collection with no duplicates, making it the most complete Crayola set available.

This change would:

• Allow customers to own every color in one box
• Reduce the need to purchase multiple sets
• Provide a more complete and convenient experience

We are asking Crayola to consider offering a fully complete crayon box alongside their existing products.
