Board meeting was a win!

TONIGHT WAS A WIN! Every member of the Pleasant Prairie Village Board supported moving forward with reconsidering the ordinance restricting boats and RVs in residential driveways! The ordinance has not changed yet, but the Village will now work toward possible amendments, followed by another public hearing where residents can share their opinions, concerns and ideas for a reasonable compromise. To top it all off, FOX6 attended tonight’s meeting, recorded the Board’s entire discussion and interviewed me outside afterward for my reaction! The Board could have simply said no and done nothing, but they listened and unanimously agreed that this ordinance deserves another look. I truly appreciate their willingness to hear us and move the discussion forward. Thank you to everyone who signed, shared, attended tonight, spoke publicly or supported this effort. We aren’t finished yet, but tonight was a huge step in the right direction! Now we prepare for the public hearing and continue working toward a fair compromise that respects both our neighborhoods and responsible property owners.
