Given the delegation that our mascot statue be taken down. This petition is to replace the statue with a REAL person and figure who has demonstrated their dedication to diversity. Guy Fieri is a UNLV alumni and has used his fame and voice, as well as his profits to spread a message of acceptance and love throughout his career. We the students, would appreciate honoring all he’s done whilst making the best out of the removal of the running rebel.
