Petition Update: Constitutional Court Responds

On 28 January 2026, after this petition was launched, the Constitutional Court responded to my notice. The Registrar indicated that the Court considers applications brought on formal Notice of Motion with a Founding Affidavit, in terms of the Court's Rules.

This update is shared to place the sequence of events on public record.

At the time the notice was sent, I had already informed the Court that access to the High Court had been blocked by system failure and administrative silence, making ordinary filing impossible. I remain self-represented and am preparing the necessary formal submissions.

This petition continues to document whether access to justice becomes effective in practice when a litigant is prevented from approaching lower courts, and whether procedural form is accompanied by substantive engagement.
