Free Jorge Rondon Torrealba!

Free Jorge Rondon Torrealba!
The Issue
Jorge Rondon-Torrealba is originally from Venezuela but has been living in the United States since he was three years old and calls NYC his home. He is a former DACA recipient and proud member of the queer community. He is currently incarcerated at Krome ICE Facility in Miami where he continues to fight for his release.
Jorge has a right to stay because he is seeking asylum due to his queer identity and fear of persecution in Venezuela. He has survived gender-based violence while in detention and should be released to be able to access community and medical support. He is in an extremely vulnerable situation given the realities that criminalized queer, trans, and gender-non-conforming migrants face while detained. Jorge belongs at home with his community and loved ones, not in Venezuela where he hasn't been since he was 3 years old, and certainly not in a cage where his life is continuously at risk every minute. ICE is set on continuing the violence and torture that Jorge is facing inside, despite the urgency of him being released for his safety and survival!
Please take action, by signing this petition and demanding Jorge be released from immigration detention and reunited with his family in New York. There is #NoPrideInDetention #FreeJorgeTorrealba and #FreeThemAll.
