The University Of West Georgia over the last couple of years have changed tremendously. Our community that we once had is now destroyed because of the school. People do not feel safe in a place that supposedly promotes safety and inclusiveness. Police have abused their right and, power and most of it is just for their amusement. We as the student body would like change in the relationship between the campus police and Carrollton police. No student should have to fear for their safety, or fear the very people that are supposed to have our backs. Giving students unnecessary tickets, trailing them, and searching cars without their permission, needs to be addressed. So if you feel that there is a change that needs to happen, sign this petition and let’s make change today!
