Even though the covid-19 pandemic is still at its uprise, the high number of infections and casualties are alarming. UTwente organizes its lectures and exams in large open rooms with many people. This can be seen as a health risk as students with flu-like symptoms would not be inclined to skip exams or lectures. It is hard to tell whether one has Corona, so for the safety of all students and staff, all exams and lectures should be cancelled, before the Corona virus spreads around the University. This is a preventative action, it's only a matter of time before Corona spreads all around Enschede, and shutting down the University could slow the inevitable truth down.

Additionally, some students may not be comfortable attending school currently but feel pressured to do so because they don't want to miss anything important. 

Please take this as a consideration, and use the preventative actions put in place by other countries as an example.
