Reduced Tuition for Online Classes at USC

The Issue

The University of South Carolina declared on May 8th that students would be returning to in person classes in the fall of 2020. Although the university made this announcement, teachers were given the option to remain face-to-face or convert to online instruction. Many students signed up for classes with a face-to-face instructional method. However, classes are rapidly being changed to either 50% or more online or fully online. Because of this, tuition for those online classes should be reduced and teachers who have converted their class/classes online should be penalized in salary deduction.
