Dear all, Thank you for signing the petition, the planning application has now been submitted - as far as I'm aware there have been no significant changes to the plans, the demolition of the existing buildings are still proposed. In my opinion, the severe lack of consultation with former students, over development of the site, destruction of historic buildings, lack of affordable student accommodation, and no attempt to redevelopment the existing buildings are the key reasons why I am against this - but everyone will have their own reasons and by commenting on the application you will make the Councillors who will make the decision in September aware people are not supportive of this scheme.
