We did it! UPenn is now providing weekly testing to all students on or around campus this semester. Below is a segment of an email that was sent to UPenn students living off-campus. "As a reminder, your best protective measures to minimize COVID-19 transmission are behaviors you control such as wearing a facial covering, staying physically distanced, washing your hands, and completing daily PennOpen Pass symptom checks. Weekly monitoring of your COVID-19 status, even if you are not showing symptoms, can also assist us in identifying and isolating cases. As a student living off-campus in West Philadelphia, you are strongly encouraged to enroll in weekly surveillance testing, especially if you have 3 or more roommates or housemates. This means that you are being asked to get tested once weekly, even in the absence of symptoms. Just like for gateway testing, this will consist of an anterior nares swab and will occur in Houston Hall's Hall of Flags." Please click the link below to enroll in UPenn's weekly testing if applicable. https://wellness.upenn.edu/coronavirus/ Thanks everyone for your support and help!
