We have recently received the news that the PPE society have invited the Westboro Baptist Church, a very famously anti-lgbtq group, to speak at an official university event. The university has ALLOWED this to go ahead. 

I have never felt unsafe at uni due to my identity before; but now I feel as though I should re-evaluate. I would greatly encourage you to sign this petition to show the University of Nottingham that the hatred spread by the Westboro Baptist Church has no place anywhere, especially not at a community such as this.
