I am a fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team among other college football teams. Fox began airing college football in 1998 with the Cotton Bowl. They added most of the BCS in 2006. That season, Notre Dame appeared in the Sugar Bowl, and lost to LSU. Fox no longer airs any bowls, but in 2012 added regular season coverage of Big 12 and Pac-12 games. Each of Notre Dame's last three season finales (2013 and 2015 against Stanford and 2014 against USC) have aired on Fox, and they have also ended in losses. As a Notre Dame fan, I do not want to see my team on Fox anymore. Now that Fox doesn't have any bowls anymore, Notre Dame can refuse to let any of its Big 12 and Pac-12 road games appear on Fox. But they have not. That network is bad news for the Irish, and I want them to see that. I'd rather have a late time slot on ESPN than a primetime slot on Fox. Together, Irish fans can make a difference.
