UNM North Golf Course has doubled as a dog park for years and has been enjoyed by people of all ages and dogs of all shapes and sizes. There is talk of restricting the golf course to just golfers meaning all the dogs would have to find a new safe and beautiful place to play. This petition is being created to show the University of New Mexico how many people enjoy coming to the park after hours and how much of a loss this would be to Albuquerque locals if their dogs weren't allowed anymore.
