Partial refund of tuition and fees for the Spring 2020 semester

The Issue

As all of you know, The University of Nevada has moved all classes to remote instruction whether that is via Zoom meetings or just by communicating via Webcampus email. The University has not informed their students that they are planning on or will plan on refunding parts of the tuition and fees that are no longer applicable or of use to many of us students. Our tuition and fees cover an assortment of items like the following: E.L Wiegand fitness fees, technology fees, health center fees, student union fees, etc. and all of which are no longer accessible to us. I am by no means asking them to refund an entire semester's worth of tuition and fees. However, I do believe the fees that we, as students of the University, can no longer utilize, yes, those fees (at least half of the cost since we went remote after midterms) should be refunded. Many other Universities have began reimbursing their students, University of Nevada can too!

Additionally, the seniors of the University of Nevada were just informed that commencement will now officially "occur in virtual fashion." The $95 Graduation fee that was charged, should be refunded or should be made significantly less.
