Mid Spring semester of 2020 students across the country, The University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) included, were forced to stay home and all classes/professors were to switch to "remote learning."

The summer semester has remained "remote learning" and there have recently been changes to a majority of Fall 2020 courses to switch to "remote learning" as well.

Due to social distancing and property CDC regulations, students are unable to utilize most of the services that UNLV has offered in the past to students.  This includes services such as the library as well as the gym.

The University of Nevada at Las Vegas is continuing to charge students for these services although they are not able to access them.  These inaccessible services should not be charged to students and it is inappropriate and poor judgement on the university's part to continue to do so.  

Signing this petition is acknowledging that UNLV continually charging their students the same fees as when all services were available is poor judgement.  Students should not be paying for services they are unable to utilize.
