In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of Memphis decided to begin the fall 2020 semester remotely/virtually and will revaluate in the beginning of September. Despite the majority of the classes being online, the university is charging their undergraduate students for dining fees ($300 per semester). Most of the student body will be off campus and at home. 
This petition is a call to action for the University of Memphis to refund its undergraduate students for the dining fees that are being charged onto their financial accounts. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected students socially, economically, and psychologically. Adding further financial strain on undergraduate students will create further adversity.
Please sign this petition, as a call to action, so the University of Memphis can refund its undergraduate students for its $300 dining fees (Tiger Eat$) as the majority of the student body will be off campus.
