Stop investing in Israeli Apartheid!
Why this petition matters

The University of Kent invests £39,289 in companies who are complicit in Israeli Apartheid: HSBC, Barclays, Cisco Systems, G4S, BAE Systems and Booking.Com. G4S runs prisons that incarcerate Palestinians without trial, and torture Palestinian prisoners, including children. Booking.Com promotes tourism inside illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land, HSBC and Barclays finance companies like Caterpillar that help to ethnically 'cleanse' Palestinians from their land by demolishing their homes, Cisco and BAE Systems are complicit in the arms industry that kills Palestinians with impunity, and uses their technology to operate checkpoints and other structures of Israel's apartheid system.
It is not the size of the investment that counts, it's the principle. Every divestment from Israeli apartheid is a step towards the Palestinian people achieving human, national and civil rights, denied since Britain handed 'mandate' Palestine over to the occupiers.
