Undergraduate students, parents, and students residing in university residence halls demand permission for names to stay up on Jun Innami’s and Luke Clancy’s ceiling. The university residence advisor has not provided sufficient or valid reasoning for removal and return of these name tags besides a few people who complained that they missed theirs. A solution for these people would be to write their names on a piece of paper and stick it on their door. The ceiling mural was not only for comedic effect, it is also elegant, emotional, and thought provoking. It’s removal is a disrespect to the fourth floor of Weston Hall and to the entire Weston Exploration program, which inspires us to explore, in this case exploring is being done through an artistic mural.
