Included in tuition at UF, on campus students pay fees for numerous student services for each credit hour. Included in these fees are activity and services fees, a health fee, a transportation fee, and an athletic fee. These fees add up to $46.21 per credit hour according to the tuition breakdown provided by UF financial services. These fees are not required for UF Online students and cover on campus resources that UF students have access to. Due to the outbreak of Covid-19, many of these services have been cut, including the gyms and the infirmary being closed and bus services being reduced. 

We are asking that UF offer a partial refund on these service fees due to the fact that the services they cover have either been reduced or are no longer available to us.  As UF students we are entitled to the resources that we pay for, and when they are no longer available we are entitled to a refund.

Many students are financially struggling at this time as a result of mass unemployment, and a refund from the University would be tremendously helpful to the UF student body during this crisis.
