Donald McKayle Invited to Return

We are excited to announce that Donald McKayle will be recalled from September 2016-2017 at the University of California, Irvine. We would like to thank UCI’s Dance Department for supporting the wants of the students, and for allowing Professor McKayle to continue to showcase his work. We also would like to give our sincerest gratitude to Provost Enrique Lavernia for recalling Professor McKayle for another year. Furthermore, we would like to thank everyone who signed our petition and or sent in letters to the department. This victorious achievement would not have been possible without your support. Thank you Professor McKayle for accepting our special request. We are extremely blessed to have you to create for us, mentor us, and inspire us. We are looking forward to it with excitement. BCM
