Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the UCs have been charging on-campus fees every quarter despite students not being allowed to access these facilities. Charging every undergraduate student $675.75 per quarter for access to closed facilities, cleaning of unused buildings, safety fees, transportation fees, and more. This is a total of $2700 per student since the start of the pandemic. This is a time where students and families are already struggling just to make rent, pay for food, and stay safe. It is outrageous that the school has not lowered tuition, continues to charge students for things we do not have access to, and has even lowered professors pay. Where is all this excess money going? They are not spending it on the campus facilities, professors, or students!
