We all love our campus here at the University of Alabama- it's beautifully captivating and makes us feel at home. Here at the Capstone, our administration is always striving to find ways to better campus and make our students feel at home. However, one of our shortcomings here at UA is environmental awareness and action. This movement stands to get the ball rolling in Tuscaloosa by building a green roof on campus, with the Ferguson Center as our main target. Green roofs are rooftop gardens that save bundles on energy, cutting both costs and emissions for our great school over the years to come. We want this to be UA's first leap towards a more sustainable, environmentally active campus with hopes of spreading these ideals to our larger community. Let's take the first step toward saving the environment, Tuscaloosa!
