University fees reimbursement for strike action

There are only 24 official teaching weeks in most University calendars, with students generally being at university for between 26 and 28 weeks.
The fact that there are strikes taking place for 3 weeks between the 22nd of February and the 16th of March supersedes the agreement entered into by students with their respective Universities and Student Finance UK. For these 3 weeks we are not being provided with the education promised when we entered into that agreement.
It is for this reason that students are entitled to a reimbursement of their tuition fee loan of between £967 and £1,125, depending on the proportion of teaching weeks this strike disrupts. This issue can be resolved if Universities agree to a fair pension scheme for all staff, ending the strike.
