Thank you to all those who have signed and shared this! Again, the hope for this is to get the word out more than anything else and hopefully - maybe - get Universal/IMAX to either address this or make at least a couple of prints in this coming month leading up to the film's release. (In any case, there should be one 'master' print - from which release prints are struck - that exists at the IMAX HQ...)

The 'IMAX World Premiere' of the film is taking place tomorrow afternoon with Damien Chazelle introducing at the Cinesphere - the world's first permanent IMAX venue - as part of the Toronto International Film Festival. Aside from the red carpet premiere on Monday evening and one public screening the following day, the remainder of First Man's press and public screenings at TIFF will be presented in IMAX laser at the Scotiabank Theatre, in full 1.43:1 for the lunar sequences. Guess after tomorrow we'll know exactly what sequences are presented in the full height aspect ratio.
