The Issue

With classes being switched to online, students who are not residents of Oklahoma will still be expected to pay full tuition along with out of state fees, though many of the classes will be online. The financial office states that out of state tuition will still be expected because the students are getting the same credit they would in an in-class setting, but it is known that online class is not the same as a class in person. For many, online classes pose to be much more challenging and not nearly as educational. Out of State students should not have to pay out of state tuition for courses they are not given the option to take in person. Either give students an in-person option or do not charge out of state tuition.
