The Issue

New York City is one of the most diverse cities in the world, and Arab Americans deserve a visible, joyful, family-friendly parade that celebrates our culture, heritage, and unity.

We are asking for support to create an All Arab American Heritage Parade in New York City during Arab American Heritage Month next April.

This parade would celebrate all Arab-speaking countries and communities, including Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.

The goal is to bring people together through Arab music, dance, food, traditional clothing, language, history, art, small businesses, families, and community pride.

This parade is about culture, unity, representation, and joy. It is a way for Arab Americans and Arab-speaking communities in New York to be seen, celebrated, and respected.

New York City celebrates so many cultures proudly. Now it is time for Arab heritage to be celebrated as one beautiful, diverse community.

Sign this petition if you support bringing an All Arab American Heritage Parade to New York City.
