Last night we've received news that United Utilities will NOT be draining Cogra Moss and are looking at options for completing the engineering work on the dam! Fantastic news! Thank you all so much for your hard work promoting and sharing this petition and campaign, you are all amazing. When I started this petition I though a few hundred signatures would be a great success, so to reach over 1,000 is incredible! I have no doubt raising our voices played a crucial part in the decision making process. The local public consultation meetings will still be taking place, so I'll pass on the details for these when I have them for those wanting to attend. Once again, well done everyone, we did it!
