Cogra Moss has countless visitors- from ramblers, walkers, anglers and pony trekkers. But did you know it also has a very special set of visitors? The Bassenthwaite Lake ospreys visit Cogra Moss almost daily! For those unaware, back in 2001 (for the first time in over 150 years) ospreys were recorded nesting successfully right here in the Lake District. They return to Cumbria each year to breed. Let's keep sharing the petition to keep Cogra Moss a beautiful haven for the ospreys and for all of us to enjoy!
