Do not produce a glamorized fanfiction!
I don't mean this in a rude matter at all, but you should know that After should stay a fanfiction. You didn't expect any of this, we get it, but you know when a limit is reached. A hard copy of it was just fine, that was actually amazing, but a movie? A jewlery line worth more than the actual perfume from One Direction? Come on Anna. Even if the movie is going to be PG-13, how many parents are going to let their child go and see it. You have to think about the general audience that read and support After. Most of them are 12-16. Anyone could easily search your movie, if it comes out, and see that it was based on a fanfiction that portrayed Harry as a verbally abusive punk and Tessa willingly participated in their domestic abuse, even after deeply looking over it. You know that After shows events of rape culture and provides epitomes of misogyny. As you can also see, After romanticized a domestic abusive relationship. There are people who's parents actually have a relationship just like 'Hessa' and this touches them on a personal level. I for one, are one of those who After touches on a personal level. A lot of people think After should stay a fanfiction. I also understand that After warns you about explict content and it's rated R, but Wattpad can't control the readers. A lot of young girls still gain access to thr fanfiction. Anna, you're 25, please make a living off of something else.
